Ricky recounts: I'm a recently converted Travis fan. It all started when my craving for new and worthy music couldn't stand the late nineties radio pop crap with its lack of artistry. On the April issue of CMJ that I recived through the mail featured this four funny looking guys of a band with the simple name of Travis, after reading the featured article I realized that this was what I was craving for a long time. Immediately I went to the record store I work for here in Puerto Rico (a little beautiful island on the Caribbean) and made a search for The Man Who only to find that it was soon to be released in the States, so I waited (not to happy) but it was more than worth the wait.

I listen to this album every day since then and I was more than proud to add this gem to my 600+ cd collection. The addiction led me to buy all their import singles from The Man Who and today I placed a special order on the first album. So this is how I found about you guys, while checking their web site and trying to satisfy my hunger for more TRAVIS! LONG LIVE TRAVIS!!

I'm planning to catch their gig at Chicago Riviera Theatre on september 19 to experience Travis in a whole new way for me, I already started my ticket hunt, wish me luck!!
