Mara doles out: I am apparantly really really late in discovering Travis, but what can I say,
I am not really a music kinda girl. I usually just listen to whatever is on
the radio, and I like different stuff from various genres and bands. While
on the stairmaster last week I was watching MTV and saw the video for "Why
Does It Always Rain On Me" and the first thing I said to myself was: the boy
with the mini-mohawk sure is adorable. Then I heard the song a few more
times and thought, I must buy this cd, which is a rare event - I have
probably ten cd's to my name. Now I am completely addicted (perhaps obsessed
is a more appropriate term). I ordered a t-shirt from their web-site,
ordered their first album, and as you can guess, am greedily searching for
Travis info on the web. Sadly, Travis will be in Sacramento the week I go
on vacation to France and in France the week that I move up to Davis (near
Sacramento) to start my third year in college :P But I will remain patient
until they come back to good old CA. So concludes my conversion.
