I was at school going, Oh shit! School sucks unless you're a bully or a boffin.
Being at school. I wouldn't go back for any amount of kudos or money.
I wanted to go to art school. I thought it waould make me cool.
That teachers are just kids and they don't have any power.
I go a major quiff. I wanted it Morrissey-style, but I looked like a psycho billy.
I hope I'm still alive, and I hope my life has more balance than it does at the moment.

Getting into art school. The last 15 years have been very memorable thankfully.

You get asked the same questions so many times you start undoing the answers and eventually end up with a purer, more refined answer.
You can do anything in this world except change who you are, so get over it and get on with it.
That I was seen outside the 100 Club in Oxford--it was in a tabloid so I could have done them for libel--abusing an underage girl or something. I wasn't even in the country.
Guitars, microphones, music stands. It's usually due to embarrassment.
While we were recording The Invisible Band, and I thought, Fuck, it's brilliant.
I've got the White Stripes album. What a great singer. He's so off the cuff, it sounds like he's making it up as he's going along.
Kid A's more about patterns and melodies. They've become modern classical music.
